展現(xian)英(ying)語風采(cai)，訴說微笑力量。5月18日下午，山東(dong)職業學院第(di)一(yi)屆英(ying)語文化節開幕式(shi)暨“The Power of Smile”主題(ti)英(ying)語演講比(bi)賽(sai)在圖書館(guan)行政(zheng)樓東(dong)報告廳舉行，學院副院長郭鵬(peng)出席(xi)開幕式(shi)并致辭，基礎部(bu)(思政(zheng)部(bu))主任賈明斌(bin)、團委書記王偉(wei)、國際交流中心主任呂(lv)子泉蒞(li)臨(lin)比(bi)賽(sai)現(xian)場(chang)。
副院長郭鵬在致(zhi)辭中指出，隨著我們國(guo)家(jia)高(gao)鐵國(guo)際(ji)(ji)化戰(zhan)略的(de)(de)推進實施(shi)和學(xue)院建設優質(zhi)高(gao)職院校(xiao)的(de)(de)改(gai)革發展，培養高(gao)素(su)質(zhi)應(ying)用型人才(cai)目(mu)標中學(xue)生英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)應(ying)用水平凸顯重要性，此(ci)次隆重舉辦我院第一屆英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)文化節目(mu)的(de)(de)就是為了(le)進一步突(tu)出英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)學(xue)習(xi)的(de)(de)重要性，鍛煉同學(xue)們的(de)(de)英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)口語(yu)(yu)及實際(ji)(ji)交流應(ying)用能力，營造(zao)學(xue)院濃厚的(de)(de)英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)學(xue)習(xi)氛(fen)圍，為打(da)造(zao)特色學(xue)習(xi)型校(xiao)園進行的(de)(de)一次非常有益和有意義的(de)(de)嘗(chang)試。
本屆英(ying)(ying)語文化節歷時一(yi)個(ge)月，由基礎(chu)部、團委(wei)和國際交(jiao)流(liu)中心(xin)共(gong)同舉(ju)辦，是響應學(xue)(xue)院(yuan)建設國內(nei)領先(xian)、國際先(xian)進的優(you)質高職院(yuan)校目標，通過開展(zhan)英(ying)(ying)語演講比(bi)賽(sai)(sai)、英(ying)(ying)文歌曲大賽(sai)(sai)、英(ying)(ying)語配音秀、英(ying)(ying)文海報比(bi)賽(sai)(sai)和英(ying)(ying)語角等系列主(zhu)題活動，旨(zhi)在營(ying)造人(ren)人(ren)學(xue)(xue)習英(ying)(ying)語、用(yong)好(hao)英(ying)(ying)語的濃厚氛圍，提(ti)升大學(xue)(xue)生的學(xue)(xue)英(ying)(ying)語、說英(ying)(ying)語、用(yong)好(hao)英(ying)(ying)語的水平，活動內(nei)容新穎豐富，貼近(jin)學(xue)(xue)習生活。
經(jing)過(guo)(guo)前(qian)期的(de)(de)(de)預賽(sai)，最終(zhong)有(you)來自各系的(de)(de)(de)15位(wei)選手站上了決(jue)賽(sai)的(de)(de)(de)舞(wu)臺，他們圍(wei)繞(rao)“The Power of Smile”為主題展(zhan)示英語演(yan)講風采，他們的(de)(de)(de)演(yan)講或慷(kang)慨激昂、情感熱烈(lie)，或述(shu)說(shuo)細膩、娓(wei)(wei)娓(wei)(wei)道來，加之與外教Kim、Daleen的(de)(de)(de)現場互動問答(da)，贏得了臺下(xia)觀(guan)眾的(de)(de)(de)陣陣掌(zhang)聲(sheng)。經(jing)過(guo)(guo)激烈(lie)的(de)(de)(de)比(bi)拼，最終(zhong)張嘉(jia)琳、袁嘉(jia)賢、周穎、曲昌(chang)、高雪菲5位(wei)同(tong)學(xue)榮(rong)獲了此次比(bi)賽(sai)的(de)(de)(de)一等(deng)獎。
On the afternoon of May 18, the English Speech Contest entitled “The Power of Smile” launched the First English Culture Festival of Shandong Polytechnic, which was held in the East Lecture Hall. Guo Peng, vice president of the college, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The distinguished guests present include Mr. Jia Mingbin, dean of the Department of General Studies; Mr. Wang Wei, secretary of the Communist Youth League; Mr. Lv Ziquan, director of the International Exchange Center.
Vice President Guo Peng emphasized the substantial role played by English in the cultivation of well-qualified graduates. We hold the English festival with the purpose of enhancing the application of English, strengthening the English studying atmosphere as well as creating an academic-featured campus, which is a beneficial and significant attempt.
The English Festival is co-sponsored by the Department of General Studies, the Youth League and the International Exchange Center, lasting for one month. This festival consists of an English speech contest, a singing competition, a dubbing show, cultural posters and a gala, which is innovative and close to daily use and college life.
There are 15 contestants participated in the final contest after rounds and rounds of fierce competition. They delivered their speech with varied styles, passionate, enthusiastic or delicate. Audience burst into applause now and then for the active interaction between the contestants and the foreign teachers. Eventually, 5 students got the first prize who are named Zhang Jialin, Yuan Jiaxian, Zhou Ying, Qu Chang and Gao Xuefei.
